By J. C. Fischer (1731), enlarged 1782 (Christ the Risen One), gilded by court gilder J. Sammet; on the pulpit body: Christ as Saviour (c 1700), with St Peter and St Paul on either side; the pulpit roof takes the form of a stylised crown; on the entablature: the four Evangelists (without their symbols); above is the initial 'A' for Margarve Alexander, the initials of whose title 'lord of the castle of Nuremberg' are expressly written out ; and crowning all: the Risen One in a halo of rays of light, directly in front of the chancel arch.
In the sacristy (1st half 18C); decorative climbing plants on groin vault: flowers, fruit, floral ornamentation and inscription: 'Sursum corda' ('Lift up your hearts' , quotation from the liturgy of communion).
1st half 18C; particulary splendid halo of rays of light, formed by four sets of three bundles of rays around a red circle; within that the triangle as symbol of the trinity with Hebraic God's name 'Jahwe'; three angels' heads around the outside.
Donated by Nuremberg merchant J. Leißner, begun by the Nuremberg organ-builder J. Ch. Kittelmann, after whose death in 1777 the Bayreuth court organ-builder G. E. Wiegleb completed it in 1784.
Dated 1782, an open stall, in which the priest and the person making thier confession sat next to one another.
Over the south doorway (1782): the 'temple' was dedicated to the 'cult of the triune God' and 'to the practice of pure (!) religion'; in addition to Margrave Alexander, Father J. D. Möckel and civil servant J. G. Pöhringer are named, between whom fierce arguments took place during the construction of the church.
Of J. D. Möckel, praised by the margravine for his good looks; during his incumbency the church was rebuilt (1779-82; see building inscription over south doorway).
